A score of 178 is extremely high, I once met a young woman [20 years old] who could speak 5 languages fluently and she was not at 178. As far as I can remember that score is about one in a million. You should investigate your IQ through doing several tests. Do not be disappointed if after doing some more challenging tests you come in at maybe 145 to 155. Only one person in 700 is above 145. At 145 with a great attitude the only fields closed to you would be advanced physics and possibly advanced mathematics; and they may not be if you are mathematically instead of linguistically gifted. At 178, I can not imagine anything cerebral that would stop you. Remember some mathematicians wanted to be doctors but they could not do the dissection work -- there are other factors in life besides brains....
