I wonder if anyone can help? I am sitting a mechanical aptitude test for a trainee train driver on 25/11/08. I have the same problem of trying to find a free site where I can do some practice tests. Any advice would be great.

It is interesting that the information points to the right direction but also valuable as coming from the mouth of an administrator himself. The author admits that he is not a psychologist but we can't deny depth of his research and sincerity of his opinion.

I think taking a test such as this help to find out where you are in test taking. this will let you ow that you need to go further in studies and understanding of things to get a passing grade.

The only down fall is that they give you your score but don't tell you which ones you missed. You can also go to this site to do a little studying. http://www.psychometric-success.com/aptitude-tests/mechanical-reasoning-tests.htm I hope this helps....it did me
