Does our mind change for a certain amount of time ?

I am a 12 year old student, I am second or third in my class, my passion is paleontology and theoretical physics.
I tried the test and my result was 178, then I tried it again then I scored 186. What does that mean? Does our mind change for a specific time? I'm just really curious, I mean I didn't looked at the answer keys or my mistakes.
