Wow... Test Results!

I took a proper IQ test. They did for my age at 11 and 11 months and male. My IQ measured was 142! Is that normal for a Kid of my age? I've never done an IQ test before or practiced for one. But as a note my best exam grades were:

100% Maths

98% French

90% English

92% Geography

96% History

92% RS

100% Biology

89% Chemistry

90% Physics

93% Latin

I have been told my exam grades are quite good, but with an IQ of 142 Im rated as Highly Intelligent. But this is a IQ reference for adults or all people of all ages?

If you'd taken the time to read the article on the index, you'd see that IQ stands for "Intelligence Quotient" and measures your CAPACITY to learn, not how well you use it. IQ has nothing to do with how smart you are.

For example, a high school drop-out with an IQ of 198 will still be far less intelligent than a quantum physicist with an IQ of 140 that has spent 40+ years researching his field.

It only measures your capacity, and not how well you're using it. IQ is simply genetics. Bragging about your score is kinda like bragging about being tall.
