Just took the Personnel Test


(Chico, CA)

Just got back from a job interview and was not prepared for this test at all, I am offended that, yesterday over the phone I was asked my age by the manager, then today I was asked to prove my IQ for a position I have held for 4 years. I'm good at what I do- however, I don't test well, and did not get the job. It's their loss, a person is more than just a 12 minute test.

FYI it is illegal for a manager to ask you for your age during a job interview, unless it is job related. For example they may say, "It is required that you be at least 18 years of age for this job; can you verify that you are at least 18 years old?" but they may not say, "How old are you?"
